In other classes you have the teacher guiding you along telling you what to learn or how to learn it, but in this program you kind of go your own path and you do your own learning.

This project provided excellent real world experience for our students. They had to interact with corporate executives, store employees, equipment vendors, and an advertising agency in Maryland to acquire aerial footage. Several interviews and b-roll shoots were scheduled, and consequently, some hard decisions had to be made in postproduction in order to cut to the specified program time. Technically, they had to shoot interiors, exteriors, and talking heads, requiring special care with white balance and lighting issues. The quality of the footage is a testament to their attention to detail. Their performance with the coprorate folks was impressive, with professionalism always their top priority.
