In other classes you have the teacher guiding you along telling you what to learn or how to learn it, but in this program you kind of go your own path and you do your own learning.
Description:
ECE develops student academic skills and 21st century skills through participation in the E-Business Challenge, a project-based assignment aligned with Connecticut state standards that engages and reinforces students learning by doing. The course is divided by semesters into two related project development sequences: individual and team. Each student works individually in the first semester to study e-commerce entrepreneurship and develop a solo e-business for which they produce a business plan, website, and deliver an elevator pitch.
Challenge Statement:
This business plan represents the work of an individual student in the fall semester.
Partnership for 21st Century Skills:
Think Creatively, Communicate Clearly, Access and Evaluate Information, Use and Manage Information, Work Independently, Produce Results
