Civics and Democracy in the Internet Age

Overview
What is the impact of the Internet on our democracy in the 21st century? Does the Internet create a more informed electorate and encourage greater participation in the democratic process? Students examine these questions and more as they study the structure of government and how the Internet has impacted, and continues to impact, local, state, and national elections in the 21st century.

The Civics and Democracy course is in the development phase. Please check back in June 2010 for an update.
