Overview
Are blogs and wikis valid avenues for publishing ideas and opinions today? Can they be used to develop student voice and writing skills? Blogs and wikis are established forms of professional communication and powerful vehicles for publishing written thoughts on the Internet. This course focuses on developing critical writing and reading skills for a global audience. Students maintain a personal blog and contribute original articles to Wikipedia, the most popular collaborative encyclopedia on the Internet.
