Algebra21: Scratch
Overview
What is the relationship of computer games, mathematics, and computer programming? Can computer game development be used to teach the principles of algebra and computer science? Scratch is a programming application developed by MIT that makes it easy to create interactive animations and games, and share those creations on the Internet. Students use Scratch to learn algebra and computer programming as they design original computer games.
The Algebra21 course is currently in the development phase. Please check back in June 2010 for an update.
